A TIPP poll carried out on behalf of the Center for Security Policy has found that nearly two thirds of Americans want to see China made to pay reparations for the coronavirus pandemic.
Michael Waller, a Senior Analyst for the Center notes that “Nearly two-thirds of Americans believe that the Chinese regime should pay reparations for the destruction caused by the human coronavirus pandemic” if the virus is proven to have accidentally leaked from the Wuhan Institute of Virology.
Waller adds that the number “rises from 63 percent to 78 percent if investigations reveal that the Chinese government released the SARS-CoV-19 human coronavirus on purpose.”
Perhaps the question here should be ‘who are the 22 percent who don’t think China should pay for intentionally releasing a bio-weapon?’
When divided along political affiliation, 61 percent of Democrats and 71 percent of Republicans want reparations for an accidental leak, while 73 percent of Democrats and 88 percent of Republicans want reparations for an intentional release.
All in all, the poll found that 49 percent believe that the virus ‘was developed in a lab.’...

The US would be paying "reparations" from now until doomsday. The "settlement" would make the Treaty of Versailles look like a contract for summer pool-cleaning services.

Regardless of China’s role in producing the SARS-CoV-2 virus (and they’ve likely been burying anything incriminating there), what’s readily apparent with a mountain of evidence behind it is that China concealed vital information about this virus and the outbreak in their country from the rest of the world. Their lies and deceit led to tens or hundreds of thousands of unnecessary deaths around the world. Places like Italy and the US were blindsided because we didn’t know what to look for, how it spread, or much of anything; all information China clearly had and concealed.
China should absolutely be held responsible for this. Place immediate and significant tariffs on Chinese goods going to any western nation and keep them in place until the bill has been paid. If they retaliate, increase the tariffs to compensate and subsidize the resultant losses with the extra tariff income.
Now THERE’S some reparations I can get behind.

I’d be careful on the reparations stuff regarding China. They will play the Fauci card. That little imp is up to his neck in this fiasco and he was a rep of the US government.
