This is absolutely disgusting. Western European countries claim to be “green” because so much of their energy comes from biomass. But this CNN article explains that this “green” biomass actually wreaks major havoc and destruction on the environment in areas of the southeastern U.S. which are home to low income black people.
The fact that white environmentalists are patting each other on the back for doing this is totally reprehensible.
From now on, whenever I hear American liberals praise western Europe for its “green” use of biomass, I’m going to show them this CNN article.

Defeating the Left will require not accepting their premises.
Cutting down trees to save the planet makes about as much sense as protecting women from sexual assault by forcing them to share locker rooms and restrooms with men.
It’s an extension of NIMBY.
This is wonderful! I love it when the left starts eating their own. Now we just need to get the wokesters involved somehow. Can't wait for the Cancel Greenpeace party!

They love hurting poor. Look at the stupiud electric car subsidies. How many poor have the cash to go buy a brand new Tesla to get a tax cut? The poor pay taxes (not much) but they get to pay taxes to subsidize someone else’s new car so that person can save on gasoline AND drive in the HOV lane? Seems fair. And those solar panel subsidies. GREAT. Raise rates and taxes on everyone so Barbra Streisand can cover her estate with solar panels and save on her electric bill. YAY PROgrESSIveS. Always looking out for the little guy.
THIS IS WHAT LEFTISTS AIM TO DO. They need a permanent underclass, and they need it to keep expanding and expanding and expanding.
