If Biden wants to convince the vaccine hesitant, give Trump credit for the vaccines

President Biden missed his Independence Day target of getting first shots into the arms of 70 percent of American adults. If he wants to convince the vaccine-hesitant to get immunized — especially vaccine-hesitant Republicans — there is a simple way to do so: Give Donald Trump the credit he deserves for the vaccines.

Former presidents George W. Bush, Barack Obama, Bill Clinton and Jimmy Carter were all invited to record public service ads urging Americans to get vaccinated. The only former president not included was the one whose voice could have made the biggest difference — Trump.

This makes no sense. Today, it is Trump supporters who are most likely to remain unvaccinated. The 20 US states with the highest vaccination rates all voted for Biden in 2020. Meanwhile, most of the 22 states with the lowest vaccination rates went for Trump — including almost all of the states with vaccination rates below 50 percent. In conservative Mississippi, only 38.3 percent of adults are fully vaccinated, compared with 76.1 percent in liberal Vermont. A new Post-ABC News poll finds that while 86 percent of Democrats say they have received at least one dose, only 45 percent of Republicans have. And while just 6 percent of unvaccinated Democrats say they aren’t likely to get vaccinated, 47 percent of Republicans say they probably or definitely will not get shots against the virus.

If Biden wants to convince those Americans to get immunized, he should remind them that Operation Warp Speed — the greatest public health achievement in human history — was also the greatest achievement of the Trump presidency....

Biden is damned if he does and damned if he doesn't on this one.

I wonder if Biden were to give Trump credit for the vaccines, would Demonrats suddenly start talking about the reports in the VAERS database.

It is, after all, pretty much all political to the Trance Covidians.

Not enough. Fauci needs to be arrested and the government needs to admit it was illegal and unethical gain of function research. Big pharma already had the vaccine waiting in December 2019, so 100% of the profits made from it need to be confiscated and put in a fund for the mass murder victims in the old folks homes.

As long as they stick to their lies, nobody will drop their resistance.

The need to get vaccinated is the ONLY thing I’m aware of that both Biden and TRUMP agree on.

Even anti-vaxers seem to be giving Trump a total pass on this.

Doesn’t it bother anyone else here that the only thing Trump has said about the vaccines was “give me the credit”, and “everyone should take them.. they are safe”.?

Surely he is aware of the adverse reactions being higher than all previous vaccines combined.

Someone needs to ask Trump about this...

1. Why are so many of your supporters NOT trusting you on the vaccines President Trump?

2. Have you given any thought to the claims this vaccine is actually more deadly than the virus?

See, the thing is Trump didn’t invent these things. He certainly didn’t direct their efforts.

I simply do not trust those who did come up with them.

I don’t trust those funding their research (too many population reduction or even transhumanist about)..

And I don’t trust those who are now pushing them by hook or by crook.

Won’t make one little bit of difference to this Trump supporter.

I love President Trump and fully support him, however, he was ill-advised by Fauci the Fraud concerning the Vaccine. And there is NO WAY IN HELL I am putting that poison in my body!

Putting President Trump in charge of vaccine marketing would be the best thing, politically, Resident Bidet could do.
It would convince a lot of Conservatives to take the medicine and would give Trump something respectable to do.
It would also be a good symbolic step to unify the country, somethin Bidet is talking about, but doing nothing about.
But the left hate for Trump has, unfortunately, no boundaries, so it will not happened.
At this stage, I am not sure Trump would take this task, even if asked.

If Biden pointed to Trump as the origin of the successful vaccination program *AND* Trump identified for his followers *which* of the available "vaccines" is safest and most effective, *THEN* more of Trump supporters would get vaccinated. *BUT* that assumes Trump's response to the vaccine selection question isn't "If you follow their track records, none of them appear to be doing to good. I like therapeutics." which I think is more likely response.

Trump leaves it up to the individual. He says get the Vax if you want or use hydroxy or other therapeutics.

Yes, some MAGA reporter, such as Chanel Rion, should ask him this.

It might give Trump a chance to say how it was his intention that vaccines would be disseminated by doctors in their offices where they can discuss the pros and cons with their patients instead of being disseminated by strangers at the local Wal-Mart.

But this assumes that was Trump’s intention.

Because a lot of Conservatives are lemmings?

I supported Trump, but he made some less than stellar choices during his four years. Especially, in those whose advice and counsel he chose to follow/believe.

Nope, not going to work.

We will all see it as just another in a long line of attempts to sucker us into taking their poison.

There’s not a Trump supporter around who will trust the democrats pushing something and will not see that as the manipulation tactic it is.

So when Trump recommended HCQ, he was vilified.

Now when they want to coerce his supporters to take their shot, they want him to endorse it and he’ll be the hero.

1. Why are so many of your supporters NOT trusting you on the vaccines President Trump?

Because Robert Kennedy Jr. nuts and negative-PR companies hired by tort lawyer organizations have been successfully sowing disinformation in order to generate that distrust and put political pressure on legislators that would make it easy for lawyers to file frivolous claims against vaccine makers and easy for lawfare groups to extort concessions with the threat of tying up a company's progress in endless litigation. They pulled it off many times before hiring companies like Fenton Communications to create the Alar Scare against Washington apple growers, then the hormones in milk scare which was done for Ben and Jerry's, then the anti-GMO scare on behalf of the organics industry, and so on. Don't believe me? Perform a search on David Fenton and Fenton Communications.

Also, Biden and the far left know Trump supporters will do the opposite of anything they promote. So they know that by pushing the vaccines extra hard [even as their lawyer lobby secretly does the opposite] , their opponents [whom they want to be rid of] will react in a kneejerk way to being pressured by the Biden admin, while their own Democrat voters won't react to what Trump says the same way simply because they unaware of what Trump says thanks to mainstream and social media censorship. It is to Biden's advantage that his opponents be more vulnerable to sickness while it does not hurt his own base in any way. The resistance by Trump supporters to get vaccinated allows the admin to continue the covid fear porn almost indefinitely simply by telling their base and independents that it can't go away and herd immunity cannot be achieved because there will never be enough people vaccinated..."because Trumpers."

And... a lot of Trump supporters really are swallowing foreign and leftist-backed propaganda designed to weaken the US by polarizing Americans against each other and by encouraging their targets to resist defending themselves - we are under a biowarfare attack but also an info-warfare attack.

I have a rare autoimmune related blood disorder of which there is no known cause or cure. Since less than 10,000 people on the planet have it, I choose to not subject myself to the vaccine, and any effects it might cause.

Not bad, just judicious.

Excellent point. I wonder if my doctor will prescribe HCQ, now that I’ve had the shot? She wouldn’t prescribe it at the start of the pandemic.

Great post.

I doubt that the FDA will ever give approval to these shots.
