No, but if you get wet, evaporation will cool you off when you get out of the water. Sit in the cool water, get out and evaporate for a while. Some folks don’t have the sense to play in the sprinklers.

I don’t think you evaporate much when you are submerged in water. You don't have to evaporate when you are submerged in water that is way less than the ambient temperature, sort of like winter conditions. Of course if you leave the water then evaporation begins to cool you rapidly. Just rinse and repeat.
