Maybe try a far larger font size next time and I’ll get my binoculars out from a mile away. Absolutely unreadable as is.
The woman signed a prenup that said she would submit to Sharia mediation. Lurid dishonest headline seeking clicks.
Just say “oh heck no!” to Islam.
Title isn’t wordy enough.
Just write a novel.
“Anyone who uses “ur” or “u” as a word in a text is not someone I will take seriously”
I think it’s a holdover from the old flip phone three letters per number keying. My niece was really proficient at that, it was amazing watch her poke out a text. I personally didn’t text back then because it was such a pain in the butt.
This is a BS article.
The woman signed a contract indicating she would deal with marital issues through the mediation of the Sharia group.
This is not a criminal case. It’s contract law. Sucks to be them; read the contract.

“a Texas judge just ruled that a woman getting a divorce must go by Sharia law, where a woman’s testimony counts only half has much as a man’s.”
As Texans say: some people need killin’. Women who want to go through this BS, should have their testimony nullified. Period.
I don’t think that kind of an arbitration agreement is valid, as it is against the public interest where kids and a marriage are involved. The judge is a moron.
Sharia will stone you, throw you off a building, hang you and 1000 other delightful ways to be murdered. Karen may think its cool.
Another idiot Judge....despicable!!!
Yes join the military and during your contract you do not have all your rights.
Just wait until her hubby gets to slap her around a bit…for training purposes. Or gets to bring in the young babe. Yeah, she’s gonna love it
It has long been known that the first way to infiltrate Sharia into the US is through the family courts. Of course, by contrast, do judges force Jewish women to go through beth din to get a divorce?
No law can supercede the Law of the Land and the Law of the Land is the Constitution.
The prenup is unconstitional, whether she could read or not because it enforces slavery in the name of a religion antithetical to Christianity in a Christian land. But, the divorcee needs to sue on those grounds first then get the divorce. It sounds like she did it backwards.
At this point in time, Abbott and Paxton should be in that courtroom dragging that judge out of it.
Then allowing the woman to have a legitimate court proceeding
On a side note…..the entire family should be deported. And never should have been allowed in the US. But that’s a different matter.
She can say that from the comfort of the USA. let her go to a strict Muslim country and she’s taking a beating whenever her husband feels like it.
I think a good argument could be made that it is against public policy to sell oneself into bondage to another. Which is essentially what she did in signing the prenup.
