As the Maricopa County election audit continues in Arizona, a prominent state senator appeared to agree with remarks from an account following the election that the audit will show “significant discrepancies between the ballots audited and the original ballot count.”
The Maricopa County ballots were counted, inspected, and returned to the county last week. It counted 2,089,563 ballots.
Per AZ SoS Katie Hobbs' posted election results, that's a discrepancy of 1,244,266 ballots.

Hmmmm...this is an entirely different discussion than mere carloads of ballots or 135k 'mistakenly counted test votes'.

Are you comparing to the AZ total vote? The audit was only in Maricopa County.

I’m on their side and I wish they would just produce the goods and stop the talk. We have had non-stop teasers since 2016 in all areas of public life that supposedly would benefit the conservatives. Very, very few of them have actually panned out.

I saw that report and I think it was bogus. Until it came out all the reporting I saw was that it would take several weeks to compile the results

Just the opposite! (assuming I heard him correctly on War Room.) And Hobbs, it appears, has bigger problems coming down the line since she was aware of some cheating.

2,089,563 is the exact number for all Maricopa County ballots (early + election day + provisional) reported as Final & Official by the Maricopa County Recorder on 11-13-2020.
The “tweets” say that significant discrepancies were found. The State Senators made no reference to numbers. Ian Cheong put forth the 2,089,563 figure in his article, as if that is the number of ballots the auditors found. He cites no source, there has been no information to back that concept, and his claim contradicts the Senators, since it would mean that every officially reported vote was located by the auditors. It’s not helpful to muddy the waters with this sort of report.

This is the number of votes reported that the audit in Maricopa covered.
This is the number of ballots audited - 2,089,563
About 50k ballots are questionable. 12,000 is difference in state between Trump and Biden.
