Well its just Air Force, so no big surprise.
I wonder where they will get the talent to load 108 500 pounders onto each of 60 B-52s next time they need to do it. In 1972, it seems that every two striper in a non-critical AFSC did a TDY to Guam to be a bomb loader.
They were BUFs most of us got a little more buff too.
What about Practical Factors of changing batteries in electronic devices?
This sounds like millennial/Gen Z stuff.
Just circling back to the way it was prior to 1990.
Well this is quite a departure from the old regimen.
1.5mi every other day in formation.
Screw up anything and get to edge the track for a day.
Also tack on CQ for the weekend.
There’s a reason that we in the Army back in the day used to call it the “Chair Force”.
For the girls.
if i was a woke lib i’d be triggered they still used the sexist term “airmen”
My husband was required to do wet-ditching drills. I guess that is too hard now, so they will allow dry-ditching drills.
Seems like the whole military should be at least a little bit tough or is that asking too much. It really is a betrayal of those who sign up.
As woke as the Air Force is, I’m surprised the fitness test doesn’t include fellatio.
Nothing new about the test…in fact they brought back the old. When I was in the Air Force in the late 70s and early 80s, we just had to walk or run a mile and a half in 15-20 minutes once a year.
I was in 2008-2015, and the fitness test changed in 2009, by 2012 or 2013 they were already talking about changing it again.
Thank God I got out, this is embarrassing to watch.
The Chair Force?
shouldn’t that be airperson?
Isn’t a large portion of maintaining discipline in the military is conformity? Why give options for the test? Either you can do what we need you to do or you cannot.
Gee wonder why they’re modifying the standards?
