There is a lot of silliness in the Olympics. Some sports are massively competitive worldwide and to get to the Olympics takes training most days since beginning at Age 7 or so. Swimming is like that. Other sports are completely different - I mean how many girls and women are hammer throwers (outside of the domestic dispute context)? It sounds like the kind of thing that a young woman who finds herself massively oversized in high school takes up and quickly finds herself near the top of a small, very odd heap. It is kind of like the odd effects of Title IX where large girls can suddenly become rowers and receive a full college scholarship ship in the sport of “crew”.

So a bronze medal loser, in qualifiers, has to be advised when the national anthem will be played? Then she becomes a racist victim, that SHE was “setup” because it was PLAYED on the podium. What about the other two AMERICAN WINNERS? Did they not have any rights to enjoy their moment? It’s all about blackBERRY.

DeAnna Price won first by setting a new US record. While Berry is highly rated, she has little chance of being on the podium in Tokyo.
Why is she even trying out for the U.S. Olympic Team? It’s not like she has a chance of winning - third place on the U.S. team is probably good for 9th or 10th place at the Olympics - and I don’t think the money or the endorsements for Track and Field amount to much. What’s her incentive?

I disagree....when she gets home she should rocked with disapproval of her actions against the USA and the US Olympic Committee should remove her today. Put her on social media as an example of wrong....In the meantime the gals who honored our country should be splashed across the media that they are The focal point of what is right.
