Ha. My wife finagled a four day, three night vacation in Savannah with her side of the family. On 48 hours’ notice. I got stuck here feeding and litter cleaning with the cats until Wednesday. The downside is, she pulled a hammy walking around Forsyth Park yesterday and is still kinda gimpy. It’s been raining since they got there, so she’s been propping her leg up and sipping wine in the apartment while letting the rest of them do the heavy lifting, meal-wise. The upside is, I got stuck here with the cats. The elements of her family she went with, at best, rate about 2.5/5 stars in my book, including my in-law’s mother. If you’ll excuse me, I got some Tootsie Rolls to clean out of the cat boxes, then I’m going to rinse off the lawn and garden stink in the shower. Besides, it’s more wine for me here. LOL
