I’ve seen youtube ads on some of my own uploads in the past that don’t even have copyright claims and I certainly don’t see any of that money.

I know at one point youtube was looking at adding a premium service where you could download content from youtube. Again if they are doing that, I am not seeing a penny of it.

People have used that clip as a bait and switch for years.

Thanks for posting. Loved that song, loved the husband who sang it to me, now dead. Big sigh.

One of the most forgettable songs of the 1980’s.
Also only slightly more complex than “Happy Birthday To You”.

What a nice guy.
Never realized how complex the music in that song is.
I used to be in some 60’s rock bands but VERY simple stuff like the Stones.
There’s a song that has a cord progression that I really like - but nothing close to this one - in the song, “If You’re Going To San Francisco.” It’s at 1:50 in the song. But compared to this stuff, it’s peanuts.

I contend Windmills of Your Mind is the most complex.

The Five Discs' version of the song is far more complex, sophisticated and pleasing!
Never Let You Go--The Five Discs (1962)
