Not here in South Alabama either. I've had water standing in the low spots on my property all spring...rains every day.
Albeit, I did see someone around Auburn asking for rain on the TS thread the other day.
The “Abnormally Dry/Moderate Drought” lower peninsula of Michigan is forecast to get five inches of rain over the next ten days.
The url for that drought map picture is not from Bloomberg but it looks like it could have come from here: https://droughtmonitor.unl.edu/ . The legends for the drought severity colors don’t match, white is normal and yellow is abnormally dry, imagine that.
I had no idea it could get so hot there! I assume most people don’t have air conditioning?
I don’t know if it was for Thought or Roosevelt creating jobs.
Looks like you are in this the severe drought category?
My daughter and SIL live in the Panhandle. They do have a larger water tank, just installed this year. I sent them a link to a used fire truck, suggested they and their neighbors buy it, fill it at Priest River, just a few miles away. BTW, million-dollar houses line the riverfront. There’s only one place where people can get water, a stretch purchased by the Kalispell Tribe, open to everyone.
California, a cornucopia of fruits, nuts and raisins..
and that’s just in the state Capitol.
An abundance of neglect, indifference, idiocy and more contributed to voters choices to elect and re-elect self-serving slobs pretending to care about the state , now , and its populace’s condition in the future.
Like the ant and the grasshopper, far too many elected are nothing more than grasshoppers and leeches..
If Biden knew what’s what, he would be pushing for a pipeline for water from Canada.
Canada has something like 70% of the world’s fresh water.
My backyard is a swamp during the spring.
And, don’t charge up your electric cars either.Anyone think “they” will use this as another reason to try to impose a transportation lockdown to lower your/our auto emissions? Bueller?
After all, weren’t there a slew of reports about how clean the air was within a few weeks during the initial scamdemic lock down?
Be VERY vigilant my FRiends.
Yup. We watched it. Remember all the ecoassclowns getting aroused at how the earth was “cleansing herself” during the first six weeks of the lockdown? “We can see the Himalayas.”
Sure felt good. Maybe we’ll get another. Then another.
I don’t blame him. I would be furious too.
“The Big One” what?
Never mind. Figured it out.
Agreed. All the plants are a lush green around Northern Alabama.
Desalination. Kali, pay attention now.
It's been so wet here in Mobile that my nice big, green tomatoes have rotted on the bush.
The Solution To California’s Water Crisis Lies Off Its Coast
Not up here in PA either. We had flood warnings posted a week ago, from so much rain.
