Silverton is an old mining town in a deep valley surrounded by the spectacularly beautiful San Juan Mountains—clearly not Denver or Boulder. Yet how did an arrogant, power-drunk America-hating Communist jerk ever become its mayor?

Just so everyone is aware. Silverton is a town of 663 people in the middle of nowhere in Colorado.
The County as a whole only has 728 people and it votes 60% Democrat.
