There’s a horrible parallel to 9/11 here. Those terrorists took advantage of the flaws at every level in our system, from lax private airport security to accessible cockpits and most important, of Americans' natural inclination to trust and obey authority. The Muslim terrorists told passengers to stay seated or they would detonate (fake) bombs. Americans did what they were told. Tragedy ensued.
The one glimmer of hope is that United 93’s passengers took matters into their own hands. Let’s hope that in the next “pandemic,” American conservatives don’t just give in like they did this time.

The only time I have seen Republicans and Democrats on the same page is when they defend Chinese trade and decided to throw Trump overboard. The communists (DNC) wanted to do it directly with impeachment. The globalist neo-cons (RNC) wanted to impede Trump and do it under the table.
Trump was an American tragedy. Since the 80s he had the idea that he could do a good job for America and run it like a business. He thought we didn’t need to cultivate “enemies” but should treat the world as the opposite side of a business deal. He wanted our interests to come first, and truly cared about America’s people. I mean, the people at the jobsite, in the factory, in the kitchen at the hotel. He spent a lifetime working with both parties and being cordial.
DC is a contemptible cesspool and slimed him all they could. This will always be a shame America will bear, that they utterly trashed and abused a man who truly loved America and her people.

I think all Americans don’t have a natural inclination to trust and obey authority. Especially thug authority. I believe the Muslims expected sheeple and were unpleasantly surprised.
Chinese military refers to “restricted bioweapons” which would seem to imply that there’s a place for “unrestricted bioweapons.” Chew on that thought foe a while.
I also believe the majority of the damage to the US was entirely self inflicted and inexcusable. We continue to sabotage ourselves from within.

...in terms of outright lethality, maybe. But what if they were planning for “secondary effects” like collapsing the health delivery system or a good chunk of the private economy?
It worked splendidly as a political psy-ops weapon.
If it had been a true biological weapon it would have hurt them as badly as it did the rest of the world or even worse.
