When Republican Abraham Lincoln freed the slaves from the democrats, there were no phones or internet to spread the word, so the word spread slowly throughout the nation. When people would, when did this happen? People did not know the exact date, so it was dated Juneteenth.
I have zero problem with what Juneteenth represents, Republicans freeing slaves from their Democrat owners.
