Buck­le up, kids. The Nation­al Secu­ri­ty Agency has agreed to pro­duce records about the FBI’s ille­gal snoop­ing on 16,000 Amer­i­cans, accord­ing to a let­ter that I received from the NSA this after­noon, and that sug­gests a polit­i­cal fight between the two agencies.

The NSA replied to the exact same request Cle­venger pro­vid­ed to the FBI where he received the response it would take the FBI decades to respond. Below is the NSA’s letter:

The NSA listens and snoops and gives their information to the FBI which is the dumb muscle goon squad for the US government. The DOJ waves their court documents to give the pretense of legality to anything these agencies do legal or illegal to abuse American citizens, it’s all smacks of pure Soviet Union type behavior.

The Biden Admin reportedly discovered the defection when the Chinese demanded his return and Sec of State Tony Blinken was reportedly blindsided by the info and told the Chinese we didn't have him.

The reason the DIA gave for not informing anyone was the presence of high level infiltration of the CIA, FBI, DOJ and Dept of State by China."

 

Two Excellent points that need to be kept in mind.

Now, that's not to say that the NSA as an entire organization can be trusted...but at this point it looks like there are far more patriots in that org than the FBI, CIA, DOJ & State Dept.

I always felt that, as the NSA was charged with keeping America's secrets, they were more conservative about the reasons to keep those secrets.   The Top Secret crypto gear that I operated in the USAF had two inch high engraved plastic name plates that said "Property of the NSA" but that was in 1975.   We were fully aware of the related missions of the NSA, DIA, DCA and OSI and how we fit into the hierarchy from the National Command Authority on down.
