The human mind is wired an infinite amount of ways.
Not everyone is able to try something and have an experience relatable to the ‘average’ person. That word in quotes is there because so many, many people are hit by addiction to things differently.
I cannot even handle the drugs given by dentists without literally melting down. Learned that the hard way when a dentist had to talk me down from the chair because the needle was the size of a horse and I was sure he was trying to kill me after the first shot delivered to my system.
Folks like me do not need drugs in our system because they are that dangerous. Unfortunately, a whole lot of folks get messed up *for life* off one hit of stuff.
Cannot take many, many legal drugs for that reason. I know I am not alone.
You would be stunned if you actually know what that stuff can do to a lot of folks and how it actually can get them as the ‘gateway’ to other drugs.......
It’s like I tell folks, “I screw up in life enough: I don’t need extra help doing it.”
Mocking folks for a different opinion is like being a closet dEmocrat.
