Perhaps the device is programmed to dispense a full cup. Many of their soft drink dispensers do that.

Probably something to do with trying to avoid spreading COVID. If the customer unknowingly has the virus, comes in fondling her cups, touching the area of the cup’s rim, she could contaminate those Slushie Spouts within seconds.

After all: I prefer my soft drinks served layered: One-third cola, one-third orange, and then finally one-third Sprite - with absolutely no mixing!
Why can't the servers at McD's do that?

Why can’t they mix all three flavor’s?.. Im sure it has something to do with one too many times people have complained the flavors weren’t mixed right and the McDonald’s had to throw it away and try again. Self entitled a-holes are why we all cant get along.
