Why would BLM make Floyd their poster child? Harris County (TX) court records for 1997-2007 show he was arrested 9 times on theft and drug charges. In 2007, he was arrested for aggravated robbery with a deadly weapon, holding a gun to a pregnant lady’s stomach. He pleaded guilty and served 5 years in prison. On the day he died, he had Fentanyl and meth in his system. Even though he was a large man (6’6”), he should not have been handled the way he was when arrested. Still, I don’t see the merit in the BLM selection, other than it was public, and I sure don’t understand the payment of $27 million in taxpayer funds to the family plus another $14 million in private funds. I just don’t understand why BLM rallied around this guy when other arrests would appear better when fully investigated.

I’ve always noticed that the “stars” of mainstream media, that espouse capitalism from their media bully pulpits all turn into raging capitalists when it comes to signing a book deal or a tv contract. Ever notice that?
Why doesn’t any of these tv anchors say “because I agree with the principles of Marx and Lenin, I am donating all my salary to the government in pursuit of the greater good”? The only recent person who has donated their entire salary was... Donald Trump!
Should you ever find yourself at a public event with any of these anchors, I hope you’ll ask them why they promote socialism for the “little people” but crass capitalism for themselves.
