I’ve never tried fried air! Must be very low in fat, calories, and everything else.
That 2qt model is still on sale at best buy for $25 (reg $40)
They have a 4.2 qt also on sale for $35 (reg $60)
$8.50/$10.50 shipping for me which is worth it since that and any store like it is 150 mile round trip for us.
The top benefit of cooking with an air fryer is for health reasons — it cooks without oil.
I like my Ninja Food. I use it a lot. My wife got one for each of the grandkids in the Army, they can use them in their barracks. They both like them and use the a lot too.
That convinced me, too. I’m a cast iron die hard but I’ve been hearing all kinds of people that their air fryer is the greatest thing. My “Chefman” will arrive on Monday. With limited counter space if I don’t love the thing it will be gone in a week.
Curious about how food tastes cooked in air fryer.
When I see these cooking gadgets on TV I always assumed they were a scam.
One day I was supervising someone at a pawn store. MrsMaw called and told me that our oven died. There was one of those little convection ovens (the fan that lies on top of a glass washbasin) sitting there on clearance like the ones that were in commercials at the time. I figured that even if it was junk I could probably get my $9.99 back out of it.
The American Harvest Convection Perfection that I purchased really was absolutely amazing. Everybody loved everything I put in to it. Since everyone was enjoying it we decided to take our time to find a replacement oven and wound up using it for weeks.
The new oven arrived. The family was enjoying convection cooking enough that we had spent a lot of money on a name brand oven that had a convection function. The family was quite excited to find out what this fancy new oven could do since that cheap little fan/tub thing made such incredible food.
Ya, you guessed it. It was crap. Nothing we made in it came close to what came out of the America Harvest.
We have long time ago junked that expensive convection oven and replaced it with another range but continue to often use that $9.99 special.
Sometimes these little gadgets really are the best.
Would you recommend this ( @ 4 qt) as a gift to someone who wants an air fryer?
BTW, there was a 4qt digital one at best Bet Buy but it’s sold out, even online. Most still have the 4 qt analog model.
