That’s nothing! I remember once when I was seventeen a paper plate that had pizza on it stuck to the thigh of my girlfriend as we crawled back over to the front seats of my car.

I didn't see anything and refuse to look.   I was trained in basic electronics and then secondary training in telecommunications applications in 1975 with the USAF.   I retired from Verizon after a forty year career as a senior telecommunications maintenance technician and a program and project manager.   I'm not gullible like some people.

Franz Mesmer (23 May 1734 – 5 March 1815) was thought to have magnetic powers hence the term "animal magnetism" was coined.   The vitalist theory attracted numerous followers in Europe and the United States and was popular into the 19th century.   Practitioners were often known as magnetizers rather than mesmerists.
Those people were wrong too.   We seem to be stepping back in time and I will not be a party to it.
