I don’t understand the attraction of having large, dangerous animals since there are so many other options.
A friend used to work at animal control, in Amarillo. He said black guys were always coming in, looking for “Rockweillers.”
I see so many people posting pictures of these huge dogs with babies as if they’re best friends and I am always scared when I see this because I think it’s dangerous. Obviously it is. How irresponsible to even have a huge dog like that if you have a baby in the house.
Animals are animals these are big huge mean animals. The guy probably feels really bad because it says fault in my opinion.
But they are so gentle and loyal with people they know.
My mom and sister offered to watch my baby daughter for a couple of hours. My wife and I took her over and the dog I grew up with showed a lot of interest in the youngster. When we got back, my mother and sister were sitting in the living room. They were afraid to move. They told me that whenever they started to walk toward the playpen, the dog growled at them. He was guarding the youngster. Now that we were there, he was okay with them again. Any dog that attacks a child should be gotten rid of.
