It is actually true.

It just needs to be about 20 feet thick, of layered clothing.

I’ve dropped a green, 4inch alder tree with a 9mm.

And it had plenty of power to spare as it blew a chunk out the other side at least 15ft.

A seasoned 4/4 fir post? No issues.
