Consider the source. This is from "Field and Stream", which we might as well call "Fudd Guns Monthly".

All of these cartridges will continue to have their own cult following, even the .25 auto.

The .32 magnum is as close to perfect as a J-frame size revolver can get.

The .41 magnum is the handgunning world's 16 gauge.

The .40 S&W will be this century's .38 Super.

As long as there's a market for a pocket handgun that weighs under seven ounces, (P-32) there will be a place for the .32 auto.

Overreach by the writer, indeed. One might say pulling it out of uh, somewhere.
