Toxic chemicals eating away at the foundation of the island under the sea is why it tipped over in the first place

Both this and the illegal deportee case were unanimous.

“Maximus” on Twit suggests the court is circling the wagons to prevent a court-packing scheme of adding two more justices by saying, “Won’t do you any good.”

The short answer: Monday’s ruling said Guam can pursue U.S. payments under the hazardous waste law.

The ruling, written by Justice Clarence Thomas, reversed a decision by a lower court that found a prior settlement had adequately “resolved Guam’s liability” for the dump.

Are you sure? Per the excerpt (bolded), it reads to me that a lower court found Guam no longer liable for cleanup costs, and the SC just reversed that decision. Which would mean they're adding more to what Guam is responsible for, not less?
