The Five Questions Everyone Needs to Be Asking Dr. Fauci About Gain-of-Function Research
RedState ^ | May 20, 2021 | Scot Hounsell

Over the last several weeks, a lot of information has been written about Dr. Fauci, the NIH, and the Wuhan Institute of Virology. The information that was written on it is public record, oftentimes found on the NIH’s own website. Yet despite this information being public, Dr. Fauci has insisted on denying the US-funded any gain-of-function research at the Wuhan Institute of Virology. As we covered last week, the NIH awarded grants to two people/organizations: Dr. Ralph Baric and the EcoHealth Alliance, both of which either directly paid for or shared NIH-funded research of SARS viruses with Dr. Shi Zhengli and the Wuhan Institute of Virology. There can be no more debate about this. It absolutely, unequivocally happened....

Yet, although it took a bunch of rag-tag journalists from various conservative publications to uncover this growing scandal, there are still questions...Since to this point, it has been on those conservative journalists to point this out, I decided to again to the job of the MSM and detail out five questions that need to be asked of Dr. Fauci.

1) Has the NIH or the NIAID ever funded gain-of-function research? If so, where?... know they created a new strain of SARS in 2015?

2) Were you aware of Dr. Baric’s gain-of-function research and did you know they created a new strain of SARS in 2015?...

3) Were you ever concerned that our own gain-of-function research was being shared with foreign countries?...

4) Why, after gain-of-function research was paused in the United States, did you authorize the continuation of the paused research without consulting with the White House?...

5) If gain-of-function research was necessary to create the treatments for SARS, MERS, and influenza viruses, how much did that research help in treating COVID-19 and protecting against SARS-CoV-2?...

Cats out of the bag 💼

Again the number one problem we have in this country is the media

The media is pure and simple and evil force for leftists and communism in this country with some very good exceptions

The media will not cover the Arizona audit or election fraud in fact they run complete counter narratives to it

The media is 100% for poisoning America with the stupid vaccines and attacks anybody questions it

Despite there being videotaped evidence and proof of Fauci paying for the creation of COVID-19 the media will not cover it and will cover up for Fauci

At some point regular Americans are going to reach a breaking point

"Gain of Function" means to make the virus even more deadly.

In a nutshell.

More people to be asking about this kind of motivation.

It runs in the same corner as selling baby body parts and doing experimentation on live people.

“The media is pure and simple an evil force”

That’s painting with a rather broad brush. Most people, at least historically, were drawn to journalism as a means of satisfying their broad curiosity and their love of explaining complex issues in simple terms. Some wanted to be serious muckrakers but most saw themselves as educators or government watchdogs. The advent of television news threw the profession for a loop. They already knew one needed a good voice to be a broadcaster on the radio but television added the demand for telegenic newscasters. Just as music videos made life difficult for less-than-gorgeous singers, the tv news made life difficult for unglamorous presenters. So you could be the best reporter in the world but if you weren’t “cute” or “handsome”, you would never get in front of a camera and you had to watch kids get the big bucks for reading your work.
Watergate was also a major turning point as to the type of people drawn to journalism. They went from those described above to those who wanted to take down presidents and destroy outmoded values even as they dodged military service. Media began demanding reporters adopt adversarial stances with their sources which made long-term relationships on the beat difficult or suspect.

There were other factors that affected the field. Walter Cronkite adopted the “God perspective” in his broadcasts with his “And that’s the way it is” daily signoffs. News publications like The New York Times and the Washington Post assumed the same God perspective and claimed it printed all the news fit to print. When they were proved wrong, it dented their credibility but not their claims. This dent occurred partly because of the advent of cable news 24/7 broadcasts which strained newsgathering efforts and made newspapers and analysis fairly obsolete. With so many newspeople chasing the same stories to satisfy the cable maw, it became a matter of first reporting, then verifying if challenged. Newspapers, shorn of their standing as newsbreakers, retrenched on news gathering and cut their news staff and budgets drastically, making them dependent on the God perspective sources and the Associated Press. These powerful organizations strengthened their positions by demanding “pool” reporting from the White House and limited membership in the White House Press Corp, among other strategies. With television came also massive advertising revenue and media became ripe targets for predatory investors and media wannabes to snap up, use up, and bundle up previously competing media outlets.

So media figures are not necessarily evil (though a few are) but they are mostly people who are insecure about their looks, dependent on news sources to give them an “exclusive” and thereby indentured to the Swamp, under the gun constantly to break news of any kind making it difficult to educate themselves on issues, and living hand to mouth while chasing the nearly impossible dream of hitting the top level of newspeople you see on television every night.

I don’t mean to excuse or absolve the media of today. They are overwhelmed, jealous, delusional and unimaginative as they are caught in a whirlpool of change which is hard to find an anchor, but I don’t see them as evil in general.
