I am glad you seemed to take my post in the spirit it was intended.

I am all for women's sports, because the benefits that men get from competing are similar or the same that would benefit women, fitness, confidence, accomplishment, all those things are worthy. But pumping up girls to say they will be able to compete head to head physically with men, ESPECIALLY as they reach the age of 18 or so, is unfair to women. It just is. I have no doubt that there are women in their twenties or thirties who take extreme umbrage to my views on this, and who would say "I could kick your ass!" to which my mid-Sixties self would say "Yeah, you could. But you likely wouldn't be able to kick my twenty or thirty year old ass unless you had tools or training I didn't have. And if I trained up with the same training or tools that you used to become fit, it would still probably not be a fair contest!"

In the business world, I have no problem laying my professional reputation on the line for the reflective good and advancement of women who I work for, who respect me and value my work.

That is fully deserving of respect for their intellectual and organizational capabilities (if they are deserving, of course)

I don't want to see women competing directly against men in sports, and MOST definitely not in a combat situation.

I take that view in sports, for the good of the woman, and for the good of the sport.

And I take that view in the military, for the good of the women who will be forced into combat, the men who might be forced into combat with them to their (and their unit's) disadvantage, and to our country, who I still hold out hope will prove worthy of those sacrifices we ask of them.

The question is how can anyone charge an enmtrenched bureaucrat with crimes against humanity. Is there a tribunal that has that jurisdiction?
