Our oven went out in February and we ordered one from the factory in Michigan. Nowhere in site. The bearing just went out in the dryer. Repairman says it is on back order. Nowhere in site. Covid bums, one and all.

Can anyone recommend a good washing machine?

We’ve been fighting a losing battle with one that is a little over three years old and past warranty. It has a tendency to make spots that look kind of like rust. We’ve had repair people and plumbers try their hands at it. No success.

Take the old one and go to the Local Seal and Bearing Warehouse and if they don’t have it by Part Number then get the measurements and match one up.
You’ll probably find it is a better quality bearing for less money.

A few months ago the bearing in my washer tub went bad. I ordered a new set but was sent the wrong ones. I'd disassembled the washer before realizing that. Had an idea - took the old bearings down to my auto parts store that day and bingo - he had exact replacements. Also had a reasonable facsimile of the tub shaft seal. Up and running ever since! So I recommend you get the bearing part numbers for your model and then see if you can get them from an auto parts store. I'm pretty sure you'll be able to.
