Go to a used appliance store and get a reconditioned direct drive washer
Someone’s son is putting parts together and selling them via internet and making many dollars
You [We] are being bull shitted by the judas goats. The same ilk that said don't worry about the 2020 elections being stolen, we will make up in 2022 and 24. The sheep are being pacified until they have consolidated their Power. Then they will strike. The Jews had them in Germany in the 1930s keeping them calm until the National Socialists were ready to strike. Shipping us East is really for our resettlement". The United States of America has them in 2020. "Don't worry about the election being stolen in 2020." "We will take the House back in 2022 and the Whitehouse in 2024." Have no fear Yogi is here.
“Transitory” “Unexpected”
Classic Kenmore simple 3 cycle machine. Don’t know what they costs but bought one and a dryer about 19 years ago. Both still going strong.
But we also don’t use them alot gor 2 of us.
BTW, Kenmore is actually made by Whirlpool or was in the late 70s when I worked a summer at the Whirlpool factory in Ft. Smith Ark.
Textile unions drove them out.
Yep, and that’s my point, and why many here, me included actually supported going off-shore back in the 1990s, as it was the only way to break the damn unions, which were (and still are) America-hating arms of the Democrat Party.
In hindsight, if we could have broken those unions, without having to offshore, I would have supported that. But they had a SOLID LOCK, at the time.
I partially agree, and, another factor is that we simply have a shortage of truck drivers @ present. I believe the mitigation measures forced on truck stops alone made life and work very difficult for the drivers, and, work available dropped too. Given the “enhanced” unemployment bennies and gov’t payments, my suspicion is that many decided “now’s the time to get out” (retire), and did. Now demand has jumped back up, but even if goods’ supplies are adequate, we get the situation I’ve observed at WalMart, for example, where you go in and half the soda aisle is bare. Or maybe it’s the TP again. Or maybe ALDI’s meat section is very thin.
Another shortage that’s been going on for quite some time is basic “terminal tackle” in the fishing aisle of the sporting goods section: Things like hooks, and especially lead sinkers, have been in extremely short supply for many months. Even the non-lead sinkers have been scarce, tho’ not quite so badly as lead. Maybe all the lead is being consumed in ammo production that is not available?
On the China end, tho’, don’t they claim to have beaten down COVID-19 for about a year now? I’d think that’d be more than enough time to get supply and transportation issues on their end worked out. This leads me to believe maybe all things COVID-19 are not quite as hunky-dory in China as they report. ...Well, ok, that’s not the only reason, but, still...
I think the death rate in China was more in the millions than thousands. My theory is they used Covid—either intentionally or by taking advantage of it—to cull their elderly population.
Cell phone records indicate 12-20 million fewer accounts over the past year. That just doesn’t “happen”.
This means a lot of people involved in their supply chain are not there any more.
