Others have chosen to wait until full FDA approval, which should be coming this summer. Some are waiting until they feel comfortable enough after seeing how it goes with family members and friends who are getting vaccinated. Also perfectly within their rights to do so. Around 155 million Americans jumped at the chance to get a COVID-19 vaccine as soon as possible.
Different people will look at the same options and make different choices. We should be okay with that.

If they aren’t tracking then I would think they’re guesstimate would be high as to the number vaccinated. They are of the mindset of pushing the vaccine.
If it’s about semantics, would you be happier if they said decline?

My problem is that “they” (the people leading those agencies) didn’t say “decline” nor “refuse”. They said nothing. The article headline is categorically false and misleading.
I’d be fine if the headline was “Only about 50-60% of CDC, FDA employees have gotten the COVID-19 vaccine according to Fauci, Marks,...”
That would be an honest take on what they stated. But that doesn’t help push a narrative that nobody wants the vaccine, despite the fact that 155 million Americans have already jumped at the opportunity even before full FDA approval.
There are others who have been reluctant to do so because they didn’t see the use when they still had to wear face panties, keep their distance, etc. Now that many states are relaxing those requirements, I expect some more vaccinations to take place.
These are union government employees. They don’t want to have to give up their 14 days paid vacations whenever they self-report exposure to someone that sneezed. And God forbid they have to into the office someday.

The Fauci crew and similar depts were offered injection first back in December 2020. If they’ve had it for so long but haven’t taken it, seems they’re refusing it. How can that NOT be deduced?
