My son is a wholesale expeditor for a large and MAJOR grocery supplier in the northeast.
They had a Zoom meeting today with many outside suppliers. These folks said that the product is there, they just don’t have the folks to get it through the supply chain as they’re all home sitting on their asses collecting gov’t money.
Bottom line-everything is going up price wise and to buy all the meat you can now and freeze it as big shortages are on their way soon.

Been hearing some similar stories from Cold Storage companies I have worked with in the past.
Logistics is a big problem right now.
I just told my son that and he said he heard that himself.
