“We’ve had practically a non-existent flu season this year merely because people were doing the kinds of public health things that were directed predominantly against COVID-19,” Fauci said with a straight face.
“So it is conceivable that as we go on, a year or two or more from now, that during certain seasonal periods when you have respiratory-borne viruses like the flu, people might actually elect to wear masks to diminish the likelihood that you’ll spread these respiratory-borne diseases,” Fauci added.

At least the hijab had a practical reason. It kept you from getting ravaged by islamic men. See the barbarians would not ravage islamic women so all the women started wearing them for protection.
OR, people were in lockdown and working remotely. I see many comments at work about how good it was to be at home working and not come into the office if you were feeling bad. Plus maybe more washing their hands more. No shaking hands transmitting germs. There’s a host of reasons why few cases were reported. Or maybe many flu cases were mistakenly coded as the Wuhan fllu.
If India is any indication, they are at the six month mark for the jabs, I doubt there will be any in person schools anywhere next semester. Whatever is in the jabs is supposed to start kicking in at 4-6 months so that will be the December bunch.

The mask is the critical part of the whole COVID lie. This isn’t to say the nursing homes and high spread zones didn’t need a mask protocol but it was totally abused and misused. The mask thing overall is a useless thing health wise outside a true sterilized environment.

Spoke to my ISP technician the other day as he was a twenty-something fully masked. I told him he didn’t have to wear the mask if he didn’t want to. He responded that he is now used to wearing the mask and that in fact he has not even gotten sick since he’s worn The Mask (TM) which he attributes to mask-wearing.
I then told him that people are disabling their own natural immune system taking over-the-top precautions.
