if economy is good: prices go up because of demand, and if its taxes, raising them because of workload and processing increases, etc

if economy bad: prices going up because not enough people are buying and so theynhave to raise prices, if its taxes, they are being raised because of ‘unexpected’ shortfalls of projected revenue, govt can’t be without your money

if economy is the neutral: prices go up because inflation is always occurring, everything naturally goes up, if its taxes, they raise them because still need to fix infrastructure and ‘match’ inflation
