Not really - he NEEDED the votes (and donations) of those making 200-400k, it was all planned - now he revenue and there simply isn’t much in the 400k and up bunch. Nothing new here, just like Bill Clinton’s ‘Middle Class Tax Cut’ that wound up being an increase. In both cases they took it to victory...worry about the rest later.
