Just pulled our pulse oxy meter out because I’ve been having GI issues the last four days. Stuck it on my finger and it said 83. My wife, who we got the meter from said, How the F are you breathing. She has respiratory issues and at 89, she’s having trouble breathing. I swapped the batteries and it read 93 which is still a little low but I smoked for 35 years.

I’ve been having GI/stomach issues, things don’t taste quite right, not much of an appetite but that’s about it. Like a stomach bug/flu. Breathing is fine, no body aches. She works at a nursing home and just tested negative for COVID last night and she gets tested weekly and says she can request one too. We’ll see how things go.

We’ve got no insurance so I’d probably go the horse Ivermectin route with whatever mycin they have, zinc, vit A, C, D and foods rich in quercetin.

Taking the vitamins already and some foods I eat regularly contain quercetin. Drinking lots of water since my stomach issues include diarrhea.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
They couldn’t really say much about Ivermectin because India was having great success with it to begin with. Not sure what happened since. Maybe they quit distributing it or people just stopped taking it.
Instead, the CDC quietly wrote a few articles and said not recommended for COVID.
And there are Big. Govt. / Chicom plants / CDC bureaucrats (remember when they screwed up the testing kits last summer?) / FauciFans / Big Pharma shills, and their academic allies, spreading panic and disinformation, for power or to make themselves rich.
Imperial College, self-described as "China's best academic partner in the west," predicted Taiwan, China's oldest adversary, would experience 179,828 COVID deaths if they didn't lock down. Taiwan had no lockdown and had 10 COVID deaths, a 1,798,180% error.https://t.co/l8MlaRw1uH— Michael P Senger (@MichaelPSenger) April 22, 2021
I’m surprised and a little puzzled that there was no mention of the pulse oximeter. The pulse ox, which is a fairly inexpensive little gadget that measures pulse rate and especially blood oxygen saturation, was what told me I probably had the CCP virus; I had a low-grade fever but no other symptoms. I had been measuring temp (with oral thermometer) and O2 daily for some time. Some aren’t very accurate; I ended up buying three before I had one I trusted. But I strongly recommend using one while the virus is circulating unless you’ve already had it. It’s also essential not to put off hospital treatment if you have serious signs - in my case it was tightness in my chest. It turned out I had the “ground-glass” chest X-ray. Probably if I had been started on HCQ or ivermectin it wouldn’t have been necessary, but at that time (Oct. 2020) HCQ was still being deprecated for essentially political reasons, and I don’t recall hearing much about ivermectin
The oximeter and basal thermometer suggestions are sound advice. These two cheap diagnostic tools are essential and everyone should have them. I’m not so sure going to the hospital would have prevented the ground glass opacity condition. There are some reports that the lungs have the ability to repair themselves over time from the Covid damage so keep up the faith, maintain good health, and prepare ahead for the fall/winter flu season.
Interesting they recommend the masks without the valve. I use a sealed p95 (3m 6100) or p100 (dreagar) mask with valve because it protects me. I’m not sick and don’t want to be. The mask without valve assumes you are sick and is stopping you from passing on the virus. Why would a doctor recommend that a person who is not sick not protect themselves with a mask that seals all incoming particles and allows you to breath out your CO2 so you don’t suffocate. It is beyond comprehension.
Having a valve breaks your seal. Sure, you're breathing out but that doesn't mean that some unwanted particles may not manage to travel inwards while the valve is open. And there's a bit of air that comes back into the mask when you inhale and the valve takes time to close. It may be better than wearing a plain surgical mask that doesn't seal, but it certainly isn't as effective as a properly sealed and fitted mask.
