Those who were deathly ill and miserable in bed for weeks "survived." Those who had to spend time inpatient in the hospital "survived." Those who have permanent lung damage "survived." Those who are seriously disabled - perhaps permanently - "survived." Those who lost close friends and family "survived." I have never, ever had this many people I personally know get this seriously ill for this long, pass away, or have close friends and family die from "the flu." It is not "a flu" - and it is both stupid and dishonest to claim that it is.
But if they are counting most flu cases as COVID-19, COVID-19 is at least partially the flu, and part heart disease, etc.
People die of the flu every year.
It’s a new thing to have A-holes like you celebrating every one so you can keep your scandemic virtue-signaling up.

You must hang out with a very, very sickly crowd of homies. I know of almost NO ONE who died from covid.
