Conceptually, I agree with Jeb’s statement - but achieving that goal would mean putting control of broadband access in the hands of this Federal Government - which has already proven it cannot be trusted with such power.
I assume it’s being used today to indoctrinate kids into Marxism therefore it’s deemed “essential”.
I debated some High school kids last year on Youtube and was utterly shocked. For example I would tell them democrats were pushing Marxism and they would respond “What’s wrong with Marxism? Marxism is better than Capitalism were everyone is treated fairly” HUH? Some were even insulted that I dare “slander” Marx by bringing up all the deaths resulting from Marxism.
Very very very apparent to me these kids are being indoctrinated. Teaching kids to be patriotic, respect the flag, constitution, teaching them basic civics has been replaced 100% by teaching them to be good little obedient Marxists and that their true master is Marx. And NOBODY is doing ANYTHING about this. These kids grow up and end up in politics like AOC

We’re starting to hear more voices from the past who are suddenly pontificating to us about what the party should be. Its all posturing to become relevant in 2024 IMO.
