Bernard Goldberg said extreme “far left” politics at “Real Sports With Bryant Gumbel” finally made him quit after 22 years on the HBO show. The sports commentator sat down with Bill O’Reilly to discuss his departure from the long-running show and what led to it.
Traditionally sports and politics don’t mix. People want to watch a game or a breakdown of a sport without being fed an agenda.

Have not seen one minute of “Real Sports” With Bryant Mumbel.
There needs to be balance and escape in life. Sports no longer provides the escape from reality that it once did.
Actually, he exposed the left wing bias of CBS, and the media in general way back in the nineties. He became an enemy of Mike Wallace, in particular. I guess he hoped sports would be less biased than general news.

It started decades ago since the television networks needed sports viewership to carry the cost of the rest of the swill in the networks' viewing lineup.
Sports has become nothing but a Corporate Playground.
I was so happy to hear the news the other days, that the English soccer teams all decided not to join the new European Super League. At least that’s one for the good guys, who want to end the Corporatization of Sports.
Had to learn THE HARD WAY,just how racist Blacks can really, and how left HBO - and ALL of its shows ,not only that one - really is.
How HAD to have known how left HBO was,even in ‘96!
