The NBA Commissioner is scrambling right now, trying to get rid of any and all BLM and political messaging from his league, as the entire bottom begins falling out of the National Basketball Association.
So, what’s happened to the King James NBA? Well, for starters, LeBron has absolutely destroyed it, top-to-bottom and inside out.
LeBron James has proudly and arrogantly led the NBA down the doomed SJW path, not giving a damn what the fans, who pay his salary, thought about it.
Once again, US organizations and corporations read the room wrong and jumped into full “BLM” support after the death of George Floyd, not considering for one moment that 1) Americans don’t need social justice or politics in their sports ever and 2) Americans can feel bad about George Floyd without supporting Marxist BLM.
These companies and sports franchises will learn the very hard and painful way that just because a small but very loud mob supports social justice and progressive politics, doesn’t mean the silent majority does. And it looks like school is already in session...

That’s always been an issue for basketball. Constant flow of play and high scoring makes only the end of the game really dramatic (on occasion).
Not if they are going to go and bring their kid and get a beer and dog for 20 X’s their value.

The NBA makes most of its money in the US. When they lose money in the US they are gonna feel it bad.
The NBA is not very popular in the UK for example where soccer is by far the most popular sport, sucking in most of the money.
The Chinese are currently pissed off with America and will watch their own basketball rather than the NBA.

Have you ever seen a washing machine in the spin cycle where the load is uneven? It will shake itself apart if left long enough.

The left has managed to gain control of much of America (education, sports, politics, and the media) where only one voice is being heard (or allowed).
There is no balance and America is shaking itself apart.
If balance is not restored, something is going to break.

At this point, they only exist for the gambling interests. Same with MLB going with a casino company to broadcast their games on a high pay channel (Bally). Neither cares a whit about the fans anymore. It’s all just money now.
The NBA is racist. No race diversity.
Blacks make up just 13 percent of the national population yet are at least 80 percent of the NBA players.
It doesnt matter that they are the best qualified for the job. That is a racist point.Diversity trumps all qualifications.

IMO, the MBA died when Michael Jordan retired. It was all basketball and no politics then.
