A little while ago, a man carjacked a vehicle on a major road in a suburb adjacent to mine. Police gave chase, and he fired at them out of a window of the vehicle. With the police closing in, he rolled out of the moving car and ran onto an adjoining highway, trying to carjack a second vehicle. At some point he was shot by police officers:

Yes. They just reported on the news he is White and he is dead.
These reported incidents sometime sound like these people are playing GTA5 for real.

Someone standing in the middle of the highway pointing a gun at me means I duck and floor the accelerator.
BLM arsonists, vandals and looters are hotly defended by a corrupt and rabidly partisan media. This same media also leads the charge for lynch mob justice against pretty much ANY white police officer who uses deadly force against a black suspect, regardless of circumstances.
The local governments in Minneapolis/Saint Paul and its suburbs are weak and feckless. Besides, most of them are “progressive” Democrats who have bought in to the “systemic racism” lie. For them it’s SOOO much easier to throw their police under the bus and allow their cities to be consumed with violence, disorder, arson and looting.
Don’t care what color he is, shooting him might have actually saved his life because it got him off the highway.
