We already have a gradual path to citizenship, even for those criminals:
1. Go home before you are caught.
2. Apply for legal entry to the Untied States.
3. Go through the proper legal process to obtain citizenship.
Does George W. also support a gradual path to millionaire status, where if I rob a bank and don’t get caught for a certain number of years, I get to keep the money and it’s legally mine?
Those situations are exactly equivalent.
