I feel like I lost an older brother too.
I miss Rush big time, he was a great voice for conservatives.
I am often wondering how can that void be filled (not replaced). Very few people come to mind that can represent conservative values plus draw in a younger audience to open their minds and viewpoints. One is at the top of my list, Steven Crowder, followed by Candace Owens, then Dana Loesch.

By the same token, Churchill's great-grandson died a few years ago, and his brother's eulogy was also very intimate. Doesn't have a lot to do with Free Republic discussions today but it reflects a very dignified way to handle loss.

I still listen to recordings of another radio host I listened to who died.
Sorry, but Candace Owens couldn’t become the next Rush.
