Coke got woke, and now they’re gonna go broke.
I don’t know why these companies literally can’t stop themselves from jumping into social and political issues. It’s like, you make fizzy sugar water, shut up.
But much like sports and Hollywood, these progressive corporate commies just can’t stop themselves from giving their unsolicited two cents.
Everyone’s a friggen activist nowadays.
And it’s not like going “woke” is this super-profitable gig for most companies and sports franchises. Hollywood is quite literally circling the drain as we speak – there are more people in my living room right now than actual viewers who watch their narcissistic awards shows, and the ratings for sports are on their second flush as well.
So, getting all SJW and political isn’t a smart gig when the vast majority of the country is sitting back looking at this circus unfold and thinking everyone involved has some type of personality disorder or emotional imbalance.
Even so, companies like Coke and Apple, and about a bazillion others, decided to chime in on the new voter integrity laws in Georgia…A bunch of soft drink executives, who didn’t read the bill, hop on the wave of outrage in order to score some quick progressive brownie points, not realizing the wave won’t last – it’s gonna hit the shore and crash within days, and they’ll be left standing there with a brand that’s destroyed and customers who are pissed.

Do they still have RC Cola? I haven’t see it in the stores in Hawaii for years.
That's OK. They make one with aspartame too. :-)
The Indian woman who is ceo of Pepsi is a far lefty.
Yep. Years ago the wife and I quit buying ready made drinks across the board (except for a rare sweet tea at a restaurant). We save a bundle. We’ve got filtered and tested spring water already (in our back yard), so buying bottled water isn’t common either. We get fruit drinks in concentrate, and mix our own.
Ice does. Why do people polute bourbon? But listen to me, I add ice. I better shut up after I finish my drink or I will get in trouble. (I'm only kidding, but I am drinking Jim Bean at the moment ... on ice, which has melted, so I better tend to my drink.)
Nothing goes best with Jim Beam. Absolutely NOTHING.
If your going. to add sugar and cola buy cheap bourbon. Colonel Kwicky Mart comes to mind.
They’re in “No Haole” stores...
I had some this morning. (Illinois)
Could careless what these ass joles do...
True, there is one sane fellow left in HR and he will quietly agree the lot of the HR are now a borderline cult of woke from the VP of HR down. Now virtually all females and it nearly impossible to have them forward a resume of a white male.
Well I like a good order of fries now and again////but not from some chain store..
Always drink my Whiskey straight, neat.
Once I put Jim Beam “Devil’s Cut” into coffee........after a few of those I was buzzed but wide awake and jumpy........cleaned the house even!
My comes home and thought I was having an affair or something. LMAO!
There is that and it helps the waist line. The latter was the primary reason for giving up soft drinks, and then I discovered the savings. I don't get motivated by boycotts, but money in the pocket and being thin certainly helps.
Pepsi went woke ages ago.
Pepsi is as leftist as Coke.
A soda company threatens states to force voter fraud. There’s no going back after that.
They aren’t walking anything back. They made their splash and knew exactly what they were doing. Now they are straddling the fence, counting on the stupidity of people that they will forgive and forget. It happens all the time. Joe Manchin is a prime example.
I think that would take the board of directors, and these days it appears that they drink as much of the Kool-Aide as the rest of the SJW’s.
I just do club soda, and little of that.
Stopped drinking it when the got rid of the bottle and went to cans some 5 decades ago I think- taste just not the same, like when they took to coke out of the cola earlier.
