Did that volcano pay carbon credits first? Maybe it’s time we have electric volcanoes.

The plume appears to be going pretty much straight up. Relatively low winds. I guess that puts paid to the idea of wind power for the volcanoes.

Yup. Solar powered, that’s the ticket!

Stuff happens when a country gives away its nuclear MAD deterrent option.

Electric volcanoes. Sounds like a name for a punk rock band.

Lots of ash to the East, however, enough to close the airport in Barbados.

How will all of this ash impact the storms in the upcoming hurricane season?

I wouldn’t consider USVI part of this region of islands. These are the Windwards. Very south and near grenada. St vincent is part of the grenadines including Mustique winter resort homes of lots of british royalty/celebs. the clouds could cover hundreds of miles but the tradewinds blow from the east westward mostly. Looks like the wind is taking the cloud to barbados which is very far east of St vincent. Last big volcanic eruption was Montserrat in the Leewards. Other than evacuation of the island i don’t think many around it were effected significantly.
