Exactly. I can appreciate good dialectic but I think most of the world has moved beyond “covid is a hoax” at this point.

The Nuremberg Code was developed by US Prosecutors and Doctors at the trials in 1947.
When they sought to prosecute Nazi doctors for their heinous crimes against humanity, they found there were no laws under which to prosecute.
So they invented one, and did so outside the auspices of any republic or treaty.
They issued the Nuremberg Code concurrently with the death sentences. And hung those bastards.

Your only question on this matter should be, "Are you an epidemiologist?"
We know there was a CVN pulled off deployment.
There were other ships as well, until the order went out to not make port calls.

We’ve already established that they have not “refused”. They have not been ordered to.
And yeah, if you haven’t served you have only Hollywood’s version of the warrior mindset as a point of reference.
Of the (assumed) 50% that have not taken the shot, 40% have not got around to it and the other 10% won’t get it until it’s mandatory. You might have as many as 50 total throughout the services who will decide that’s the hill they want to die on.
It’ll be those 50 that Hollywood makes a movie about.

The context was predicting how members would react to an order to get the shot. But you chose to feel something instead of understanding.

Not really. It’s an operational matter. The scientists were consulted months ago. By far they agree any risk is outweighed by benefits.

Israel COVID-19 study finds South Africa variant able to ‘break through’ Pfizer vaccine
A new study from Israel indicates the South Africa variant of the coronavirus can “break through” the Pfizer/BioNTech vaccine to some degree.
A team from Tel Aviv University and Clalit Health Services found that the prevalence of the South Africa variant among patients who received both doses of the vaccine was around eight times higher than those unvaccinated – 5.4% versus 0.7%.
The study compared over 400 people who received at least one shot of the vaccine and contracted the coronavirus with the same number who were infected and unvaccinated.

They have chosen to not take it.
They have not been ordered to take it.
So that refusal is weak tea.
And in the general civilian population and entirely acceptable position.
But when ordered to do so, they will get the shot.
