If you are someone who has an elderly family member in an assisted care facility, you know how difficult this past year has been when dealing with Covid and being totally isolated from your loved ones. This video hit close to home for me having lost my mother almost 1 year ago not from Covid but I truly believe it was the isolation and being cut off from my Brother and his wife and to a lesser degree myself. The Woman at the center of this video is from Jacksonville, Fl, I have to say she seems to be a remarkable person. Finally the last part of the video when she talks about getting to the truth of what has happened this past year when dealing with Covid and what has worked and what has failed, I also share he fear that given the current political situation we will never get to the real truth of Covid.
Thanks for posting this. As I am 65, I need to think about my own care, and this is food for thought.
I hope to go quickly, I hope that I never suffer Alzheimer’s going that route is frightening to me....if I have any memory at all left, I hope to go out with a 3-day bender of drunken debauchery or some other self respecting way than slowing losing your mind literally...
Glad you posted this. What a great speaker and advocate. Mary Daniel should be in Congress.
