They are not hard to use, you could probably figure them out in under 90 seconds, but unless you have a open bed truck you generally do not need them.
Not many open beds out there now days. We have a work truck with rack on top so we have a set.

I sure don’t. Don’t even know what they are. I often have occasion to move heavy furniture. Securing with straps is a subset of moving stuff, and moving stuff is a man thing. I would as soon perform surgery on myself, as attempt to strap a piano to a trailer.
