They are not hard to use, you could probably figure them out in under 90 seconds, but unless you have a open bed truck you generally do not need them.
Not many open beds out there now days. We have a work truck with rack on top so we have a set.

Thank you for noticing that the landing gear was still up in that painting of the aircraft that was already at that point ascending above the cloud layer.
I like people who are sharp. The artist spent a lot of unnecessary time on adding that landing gear which would never still be down in that situation - unless there was a major malfunction.
Reminds me of that painting of the dog with a plate of steak next to it. No dog in real life would just sit by a plate of steak. That steak would have been immediately devoured!
