So, we all know that Nate SIlver, leader of 538 is a Lefty and his site is owned by Disney/ABC. He's had some great days forecasting, and he's had some bad misses, notably 2016 when he gave Hillary a high probability of winning.
Here's the 538 crews draft list (to save you clicking or having to wade through it if you are in a hurry or are boycotting Disney)
- President Trump
- Ted Cruz
- Ron DeSantis
- Nikki Haley
- Mike Pence
- Donald Trump Jr.
- Kristi Noem
- Josh Hawley
- Tim Scott (Sen. S.C.)
- Tucker Carlson
- Mike Pompeo
- Gregg Abbott
- Tom Cotton
- Ivanka Trump
- Marco Rubio
- Marjorie Taylor Greene
- Doug Ducey (Gov. AZ)
- Elise Stefanik (Rep. NY)
- Rick Scott (FL Gov and Sen)
- Candice Owens
Obviously these guys are all political junkies and they are having a bit of fun. I enjoyed the banter in during the draft conference.
Looking at this list made me happy. Ever person listed would be a big improvement on Sleepy Joe, that's for sure.

Rand Paul should be at least #12 if not higher.

Number 5 shouldn’t even be on the list.

Trump is the presumptive nominee if he chooses to run.
But he’s got to spend the next 3 years fixing election integrity or why bother.
I think he’s the only guy with enough horsepower to get it done.

Might as well get rid of Haley for her words on Trump - won’t go over well with the base. Same for Noem - she took herself out by defending cross-dressers in girls’ sports.

Definite “Noes”: Nikki Haley, Mike Pence, Kristi Noem, Tim Scott, Gregg Abbott, Marco Rubio, Marjorie Taylor Greene (like her, but way too early to be talking about the highest office in the land), Doug Ducey, Elise Stefanik, Rick Scott, Candice Owens, and Ivanka Trump.
Definite “Yesses”: President Trump, Ted Cruz, Ron DeSantis, and Josh Hawley.
Maybes: Donald Trump Jr., Tucker Carlson, Mike Pompeo, and Tom Cotton.

There are ONLY TWO prospects for 2024.
It’s Trump’s nomination if he runs.
If he does not run, it is DeSantis’ to lose.
NOBODY else will cage-fight for Americans and save the Republic.

Cruz, Haley, Pence and Noem should be further down the list.
Pompano should be closer up.
