The revived 2021 season kicks off with an intense thriller about the hunt for the greatest secret of all time: reversal of the aging process via gene therapy. Crockett and Castillo are in a desperate search for Tubbs who is the key to how he managed to reverse almost 40 years of age. Unfortunately, the one of the Mexican cartels, now operating in Miami, is holding Tubbs hostage at a secret location.
>>I do believe this is a fan made teaser.<<
I saw that. Which is another reason no one cares about Tubbs :)
Oh my
Have to pull out my Armani and dust off the scarab.....
Yes, have Starz and that is where I get access to record them. Usually a tad late at 11 for me.
Looking at the trailers I see that life has been hard on Crockett. Tubbs looks like he stepped off the set in 87!
IMO, the first two series were the best and then it began to slide. By the fifth, it was tired.
Favorite line: Did you ever think of a career in Southern Law Enforcement!!
What position did the Georgia Bulldog play?
Since Crockett is WR... DB...Safety?
“Miami Vice” jumped the shark when they began filming in Los Angeles instead of Miami which I believe was the third season.
Free Safety.
Sorry, I didn’t see Elvis in the clip at all.
/ya know, the alligator that lived on Crockett’s boat with him?
The opening intro alone is better than most shows. This show was THE definition of the 1980s.
I was close. I remember him having a conversation on his boat with someone, while telling the backstory. Who would have thought the show I loved would have a tie with my future. (I was from San Jose, CA at the time)
The song was great. I just remember flamingoes, Jai Lai, and a Hispanic chick’s boobs.
Oh how I loved this show and Dallas back in the day.
The gator was named ELVIS
In the original series there was an episode with that title, with that song, and with Glen Frey in a guest appearance.
It was the first time I ever watched an episode. I thought, “geez, If all the episodes are this good, no wonder why so many are talking about this tv program”.
But none of the other episodes came to the same level as that one.
There was one with Phil Collins that was pretty good. But my memory could be wrong.
IIRC, there was one with Bruce Willis who was a very very bad person.
There were many guests. Hubby had it on the other day in another room and I recognized the music from the episode....I walked in and said....ahhh, the one with Ted Nugent. lol
