Worst case?
Iran uses nukes on DC, NYC, LA, Chicago.
That would be a horrible catastrophe for the United States.
It would also be far less damaging than communists/socialists consolidating their power peacefully.
I’m far more worried about domestic threats to freedom than I am about foreign threats, even nuclear terrorism.
Let’s not make the mistake of thinking these are rational people with assumptions like ours — that life is unconditionally valuable, or that suicide and murder are Bad Things, necessarily.
They’re based on other assumptions, and not open to “negotiations” except as a stall and delay tactic.

Maybe this has to do with the Biden Admin pulling air defense assets (PATRIOT missile batteries) out of Saudi Arabia.
Control of the Saudi oil fields and the Gulf is the real geo-strategic prize for China to obtain with its vassal Iran, and the nuke program they cultivated there, along with their North Korean surrogate program.
